Anyway, the first permanent bridge was put in yesterday and they started the process for the 2nd one today. After story time at the library Joey and I visited Joe at work today to see how things went. He told me his jaw was sore and they had a hard time getting the bridge out and making the molds. His appointment went longer than expected -- 3 hours instead of 1 1/2 hours. Now most of us would be feeling sorry for Joe at this point, but then he proceeded to tell me how relaxing it was to be in the Dentist chair instead of at work or church which both seem to be very demanding right now. I was speechless. There aren't many people I know that look forward to their time in the dentist chair. Things that make you go HMMMMMMMMMM!

Sorry I have nothing catchy to say. I am speechless. I had a 3 hour root-canal one time, but don't recall it as relaxing. Maybe they had the gas turned up a little too "high."
I went to the dentist last week to get a filling replaced and was a bit disappointed that it only lasted a 1/2 hour. It was during work, I had laughing gas, and I was watching tv at 10am...something I never get to do :) I can relate to Joe! I think I will stop brushing my teeth so I can go more often :)
I agree...For some reason leaving work in the middle of the day is great, it doesn't really matter what the excuse is!
