Setting the Record Straight

Don't worry: Joey is wearing a Dixie State College jersey in the pictures below NOT a jersey from that school up North that doesn't even deserve mentioning. Just thought I should clarify. We are still true, blue, BYU fans! Don't want anyone to question our loyalties. GO COUGARS!

Lost Tooth

Joey lost another tooth! He is so excited. The dentist actually helped wiggle it out this morning because it was bothering him.

Tommy weighs (drum roll please) 11.4 pounds. If I haven't mentioned it before, usually babies gain about 1 ounce a day. Tommy is doing about double that. The Dr. told me that is healthy for preemies.

The Rocket

After being weighed at the Dr. office the Dr. said that Tommy is growing like a rocket. We often like to refer to his feedings as refueling the rocket. He is over 10 pounds now!

In other family happenings, Joey has been playing football at recess and before school. He loves to talk about breaking tackles and throwing awesome passes. He could talk about it for hours. He is totally bummed that one of the teachers will not allow them to play football anymore at recess. He told me that he doesn't like it when she is on recess duty and it is so much better when the other teachers are out because they let them play football. Mind you that they do play rough! He was bummed out today because this same teacher won't even let them play two hand touch football anymore. The politics of recess and teachers are learned at such a young age!

Thanks to all you concerned Cougar fans that have supported Joe in this terrible incident with the Ute bumper sticker on his truck. Joe does feel bad that he falsely accused some of you loyal Utes. With all due respect, please accept his humble apology. We now have a suspect(s) and revenge is being planned.

I'd Rather Be Dead Than Red

So.......I came out to my truck at about 4:45pm today and found that someone had vandalized my truck! With cheap scotch tape, they affixed this hideous bumper sticker to the bumper of my precious white truck. Isn't this a felony? I am offering a cash reward for information leading to the capture and conviction of such an evil, sour-minded criminal that would think this funny. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I have made several calls to possible suspects (you know who you are) and have received denials. This behavior will not be tolerated! Just remember: revenge is sweet! May I set the record straight:
GO COUGARS!!!!

Happy Ground Hog Day!

Well I have to say I can't think of Ground Hog Day with out thinking of Joe's grandma Musa. She died several years ago - May 1997. Musa went and saw the movie "Ground Hog Day" and Joe's mother was asking her how she liked it. Musa replied, "Well it was okay, it was just so repetitive." We laughed and laughed and laughed and still laugh at her comment.

Just the Good Ole Boys

All is well here. My ear aches are gone for the most part. Tommy hasn't been to the RSV clinic in over a week and Joe's ankle is not as swollen. Life is Good!

So BIG

Tommy is growing, growing, growing! I put an outfit on him yesterday that he had just worn last week and it didn't fit at all!

Joey has been saying this week that he and Tommy are the same age -- 6. Tommy is 6 weeks now and Joey is 6 years. Also, Joey has started calling Tommy "T T." I am not sure where he got that little nick name from, but it is cute to hear him use it. I wonder how long it will stick..... The first thing Joey does when he comes in the door from school is ask, "How is Tommy? Is he awake? Did his monitor go off? How many ounces did he drink?"
